New York – Naomi Campbell has settled a New York court dispute with perfume company Moodform Missions. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the model and Moodform Mission reached a settlement for their dueling lawsuits Thursday, with the details of the agreement remaining undisclosed by the company’s attorney, Daniel R. Bright, as he gave a brief statement about the matter Friday.
Moodform claimed Campbell cheated the company out of profits from a fragrance deal made in 1998. Campbell is quoted in the report as previously stating of her former modeling agent Carole White, who is now affiliated with Moodform, in a sworn statement “If White had told me that she was a principal in (Moodform Mission), I would not have blindly trusted her advice to sign the documents that she brought to me…White held a position of trust and confidence in my life, and I expected her to act in my best interests (and never to benefit if this would be detrimental to my interests).”
Bright is quoted as stating that his clients, “are happy with the settlement.”
