San Angelo, TX — Three people were injured in an industrial accident Monday morning, when a pressurized-air tank exploded. The workplace accident occurred around 8:25 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2012, in the 3800 block of Christoval Road, reported the Standard-Times.

According to reports, workers were pressure testing a tank that had been built when it broke loose and exploded. The tank was reportedly 6-feet in diameter, and about 20-feet-tall.

It is unknown how close the three victims were to the tank when it exploded, but they all sustained injuries.
