Lisbon, OH — A construction accident injured a man Monday afternoon, October 11, 2011, when he fell through a hole in the roof of a new governmental building in Lisbon. The accident occurred around 2 p.m., at a construction site along Route 45, between Dollar General and the Consumer’s Bank on Dickey Drive, reported Salem News.

According to officials, the construction worker, who is in his mid-20s, was working on the roof of the two-story building when he fell through a hole in the roof. Other workers were using the hole from inside the building to send materials through to the roof.

The man fell about 16 feet through the hole onto the second floor of the building.
