Bowling Green, OH — Investigations are underway into how a Bowling Green State University freshman fell from a fourth-floor window in a freshman residence hall. The fall took place around 3 p.m., at Centennial Hall, which had just opened up three weeks ago, reported Fox Toldeo.
According to officials the Chicago freshman was identified as Samuel Hamilton.
Hamilton was reportedly alert and able to confirm his name to responding Bowling Green EMS personnel. He was rushed to Wood County Hospital where he was then airlifted to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. The BGSU student is listed in “good” condition at this time.
Investigations into how Hamilton fell out of the window are underway. BGSU is taking witness statements.
Some sections of Centennial Hall have five floors. The building has two-section windows, with the smaller section of the windows able to be opened by residents, Fox Toledo reported.
