West Goshen Township, PA — “Jackass” star, Ryan Dunn, was killed in a car crash on Sunday night, June 19, 2011. The fatal car crash occurred around 3 a.m., on Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, reported MTV.com.
Dunn, 34, and an unidentified passenger were killed in the wreck. Police say it is still unclear who was driving the 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 at the time of the crash.
Police reports reported that the luxury vehicle was “destroyed” in the wreck. “Upon arrival, police located one vehicle in the road and in the woods that was fully engulfed in flames,” the report said.
Alcohol is speculated to be involved in the car crash by various news sources, but the police report didn’t indicate a “DUI.” Speed was also a noted factor.
TMZ reported that Dunn was spotted in a Philadelphia-area bar prior to the fatal accident and was seen drinking at least three beers and three shots.
The last photo Dunn posted on Twitter, a popular social networking site, before his death showed Dunn and two friends drinking what appeared to be alcoholic beverages.
Investigations are underway.
