(Miami Car Accident Attorney News) In an effort to raise money for research on childhood cancers, the Miami personal injury lawyers at Grossman Roth, P.A. are offering two foursomes the chance to play nine holes of golf with rising PGA star Dustin Johnson on March 14.

This charity golf event will take place at La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach and is expected to raise close to $100,000 for Margaux’s Miracle Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research and helps raise awareness of childhood cancers.

Margaux’s Miracle Foundation was created in the memory of Margaux Renee Grossman to raise awareness of childhood cancers through various community service projects. The foundation seeks to provide and publish the results of research seeking to test and improve upon complementary treatments for cancer patients, with a particular emphasis on Ewing’s sarcoma and other types of childhood cancer.

The foundation also raises funds for scientific research devoted to finding and developing cancer treatment techniques that are complementary to those currently offered by the established medical community. It supports a full-time research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where Margaux was treated.

As foundation chairman, Stuart Grossman, a leading Florida injury lawyer at Grossman Roth, and others working with the foundation organized this fundraising golf event.

Grossman predicts the “highly exclusive outing” will be an “unforgettable day of golf” since two foursomes will hit the tees with one of the young superstars on the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson. Dustin is currently the two-time defending champion of the AT&T Pebble Beach Invitational Tournament and finished fourth on the PGA Tour money list for 2010.

To participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event and contribute to a worthy cause, those interested in golfing with Dustin Johnson will be asked to donate $10,000 to Margaux’s Miracle Foundation. Johnson will kick off the March 14 outing at 10 a.m. with a golf clinic, which will be followed by lunch, tee times and then post-golf cocktails and dinner at the world-famous Joe’s Stone Crab restaurant in Miami Beach.
