Robinson Township, PA—A motorist who was driving with a cast on this leg crashed his vehicle into the wall of a Robinson Township restaurant on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. The automobile accident occurred around 11:15 at the Steak ‘n Shake on Park Manor Boulevard, as reported by WTAE.
Luckily there were no serious injuries as the building was closed at the time.
Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the restaurant’s front window smashed in.
According to police officials, the driver recently had surgery on his right foot and was in a cast. The driver, 19-year-old Jordan Menni, of McKees Rocks was operating the vehicle’s pedals with his left foot, when he hit the gas instead of pushing the brake.
A 17-year-old female passenger in the vehicle bumped her head in the collision, but she refused treatment at the scene. It was not reported if Menni sustained any injuries.
It was not reported if any charges will be filed in connection with the wreck. Investigations are underway.
