The Utah Highway Patrol alerts Utah 18-wheeler accident attorneys—A crash involving a semi-truck and a Ford Ranger near Delta, UT killed two people.

Delta, UT– A semi-truck loaded with ammunition and blasting caps collided with a pickup truck, killing two people on Thursday, April 15, 2010. The crash occurred around 1:00 p.m., on State Road 50, just three miles east of Delta, as reported by ABC4.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), the driver of a Ford Ranger reportedly ran a stop sign while traveling eastbound on State Road 50. The truck apparently slammed into the side of the tractor-trailer, which was hauling ammunition while traveling southbound on State Road 136.

The collision ejected both the driver and the passenger riding inside the pickup truck, killing them both. The deceased victims were identified as Krystan Warnock, 27, and her husband Adam Warnock, 29, of Spanish Fork, Utah. The driver of the big rig and its passenger suffered “minor” injuries and were taken to an area hospital by responding emergency teams for treatment.

A one mile perimeter was set up around the accident scene, which diverted traffic while crews cleaned up the area. A full investigation is currently underway by the UHP. It was not disclosed why the truck ran the stop sign.
