Indiana personal injury attorney alerts- A DUI-related traffic crash left two victims with critical injuries.

Indianapolis, IN—A hit-and-run crash involving an intoxicated motorist and two teenage pedestrians occurred on the north side of Indianapolis, Indiana on Tuesday night, April 13, 2010. The inebriated driver responsible for the injurious pedestrian-involved motor vehicle collision (MVC) was apprehended and faces multiple charges, according to information provided by IndyStar.com.

Reports stated a drunken 36-year-old motorist, identified as Dwayne Holloway, was behind the wheel of a 2001 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro when he struck two 15-year-old girls on the 2800 block of North Keystone Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Without stopping, Holloway sped away from the scene of the horrific traffic crash.

Emergency medical services (EMS) personnel seemingly responded to the scene of the hit-and-run accident to transport the two unidentified teens to Methodist Hospital. Both of the female victims reportedly suffered critical injuries on impact of the crash.

Fortunately, a witness apparently noticed Holloway exiting his vehicle at 28th Street and Hillside Avenue and subsequently notified officials from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department (IMPD) of the hit-and-run driver’s whereabouts. Holloway’s preliminary charges included “two counts of causing an injury while operating a vehicle while intoxicated; one count of driving while intoxicated; and one count of failure to stop after an accident involving injury”.
