Legal news for Arizona motorcycle accident attorneys. Correction to article regarding the eight motorcyclists who were struck by sanitation truck in Phoenix.

A motorcycle accident killed three when a dump truck hit a pack of motorcyclists near the Carefree Highway in Phoenix, AZ.

Phoenix, AZ— In a March 29, 2010 story regarding the eight motorcyclists who were hit by a sanitation truck near the Carefree Highway, Justice News Flash incorrectly reported that Luis Sanudio, 50, was the driver of the sanitation truck. Sanudio was the investigating officer of the Phoenix Police Department. The correct identity of the sanitation truck driver was 46-year-old Michael J. Jakscht.

The wreck resulted in the death of four motorcyclists and injured three others on March 25, 2010. The Phoenix Fire Department reported a pack of motorcycle riders were at a stop light when they were suddenly hit from behind by a sanitation truck, which pushed and dragged three bikers 50 to 75 yards. Four males and two females, which also included a Phoenix fire captain, sustained serious injuries and were flown to Valley area hospitals for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
