Texas automobile accident lawyers alert- Two people are dead after a Dodge Neon slammed into a Houston, TX building.

Houston, TX—A sports car was launched into the air before slamming into an office building early Monday morning, March 22, 2010, killing two people and seriously injuring three others. The serious motor vehicle accident occurred around 2:00 a.m., as the vehicle was traveling north on Briarpark, as reported by MyFoxHouston.com.

The Houston Police reported, a black Dodge Neon was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the car. Since the vehicle was speeding, it was launched 15 feet into the air after hitting a median, when it then chipped the top of an office building. Police officials are still trying to piece together what actually happened. There were five occupants in the car at the time, which included a 38-year-old male and 24-year-old female who were killed in the wreck. Their identities are currently being withheld. The 26-year-old male driver and two other passengers were rushed to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital for treatment. They are currently listed in serious condition. Although police know that speeding was a factor, they are unsure if alcohol played a role. The DWI task force is investigating whether or not alcohol was involved. A full investigation is ongoing.
