California truck accident attorneys alert- A Diamond Bar crash killed an off-duty Los Angeles police officer.

Los Angeles, CA—A four-vehicle collision in Diamond Bar killed an off-duty Los Angeles police officer and injured several others Thursday, February 25, 2010. The fatal multiple vehicle collision was prompted by a head-on crash at Grand Avenue, just west of Longview Drive, as reported by the Daily Bulletin.

According to a Los Angeles County sheriff’s official, one vehicle was reportedly headed north on Grand Avenue, when it somehow crashed head-on into a southbound vehicle. Two other vehicles then slammed into the already wrecked vehicles. An off-duty Los Angeles police officer that was only identified as a female in her late 30’s, was tragically killed in the crash. The driver of small pickup truck that was involved in the collision was airlifted to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for treatment of their serious injuries. The driver is currently listed in moderate-to-critical condition. The occupants of a larger pickup truck, two adults and a teenager, were also injured and transported to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries. It was not reported if anyone inside the fourth vehicle sustained any injuries. Crash investigators are currently trying to determine what caused the fatal collision. At this time no arrests have been made, nor have any citations been issued.
