California SUV accident attorneys alerts- Two sport utility vehicles crashed in Long Beach leaving nine injured.

Long Beach, CA—Two sport utility vehicles (SUV) violently crashed, causing one of them to roll several times, ejecting four passengers. The horrific collision occurred on Thursday, December 17, 2009, around 7:00 p.m., along the southbound lanes of the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach near the junction with the Artesia (91) Freeway, as reported by 89.3 KPCC.

According to police officials, a SUV collided with another larger SUV for unknown reasons, which sent the smaller SUV tumbling down the roadway. Nine people were injured while traveling in the SUV that rolled over in the incident, which included two children 4 or 5-years-old. Four of the five adults traveling in the overturned SUV were ejected upon impact. All nine victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. Five people were reportedly critically injured, and four were moderately injured. Two occupants of the larger SUV were not injured in the collision. Police officials are still trying to determine what caused the wreck. A total of 10 Long Beach fire vehicles, which included ambulances, responded to the collision. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Compton Fire Department also reported to the scene. Police officials are conducting a full investigation into the violent two-vehicle wreck.
