Semi-truck accident attorneys alert- A crash involving a Budweiser tractor-trailer injured 10 people.

Dallas, TX—Ten people were injured in a multiple vehicle wreck which closed down a part of Interstate 20 for three hours. The seven-vehicle crash happened on Thursday, October 1, 2009 around 4:30 p.m., along Interstate 20 near Weatherford, as reported by the Star- Telegram.

According to Weatherford police officials, a Budweiser tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on I-20, near the 408 exit, when the big rig swerved out of the eastbound lanes, and through the cables separating the eastbound and westbound lanes. A SUV traveling next to the tractor-trailer followed the tractor-trailer out of the eastbound lanes and into the westbound lanes where they collided with five other vehicles. The Budweiser semi-truck jack-knifed in the westbound lanes as a result of the wreck, and caused the other vehicles to hit against its sides. Ten people were injured in the multiple vehicle wreck, and were transported by area emergency medical services (EMS) crews to local hospitals for treatment. The victims are reportedly in stable condition at this time. The interstate was shut down for nearly three hours due to the crash. Police officials are conducting a full investigation into the multiple-vehicle pile-up. At this time no citations in connection with the wreck have been issued.
