Vancouver Police Department alerts Washington automobile accident lawyers- A crash involving a Cadillac killed one and injured two others.
Vancouver, WA—A one-vehicle crash left one person dead, and two others injured after their speeding car lost control, went airborne, flipped several times, and crashed into a cemetery. The fatal wreck happened on Friday, September 25, 2009 around 2:15 a.m., inside the Vancouver Barracks Post Cemetery, as reported by KGW.
The Vancouver Police Department, who is still trying to determine what exactly happened, believe a Cadillac was speeding on East Fourth Plain Boulevard when the car rounded a turn near the O Street intersection and lost control. The luxury car left the roadway went airborne, flipped several times, and smashed through a chain-link fence surrounding the Vancouver Barracks Post Cemetery. One victim was ejected from the car on impact, and was found pinned underneath the vehicle. The ejected victim, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by responding emergency medical services (EMS) crews. A second male victim was transported by EMS teams to a local hospital in serious condition. Another male victim was able to crawl out from the wreckage, and was rushed to a local hospital by a private party. Police officials suspect there were four male occupants inside the vehicle. They believe the fourth passenger fled from the scene of the crash. It is currently unknown who was driving the car at the time of the wreck. Police officials stated speeding and recklessness could have contributed to the fatal rollover. A full investigation is reportedly underway into the wreck by Vancouver police officials.
