Accident investigators stated no one was wearing a seat belt, and their were no child safety seats inside the vehicle when the crash occurred. Most of the 11 passengers were reportedly ejected from the vehicle, including an 11-year-old girl. The young girl was transported by EMS crews to Memorial Hermann Hospital The Woodlands, and then taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she was the airlifted by Life Flight to Texas Medical Center. The other injured passengers were reportedly rushed by EMS teams to other area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
