Fairfax County Public Schools summer program bus collided with an SUV injuring 7 children on board.

Virginia personal injury plaintiffs news-Fairfax County Public School bus accident involving an SUV driver injures seven children.

Falls Church, VA–A Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) http://www.fcps.edu/ bus collided with an 18 year-old SUV driver at about 10:30 a.m., Wednesday morning. The school bus was apparently transporting children involved in summer school activities when the motor vehicle accident involving an SUV occurred. The children on the bus were between the ages of 5 to 7 as reported by http://www.wtop.com, Federal News Radio.

Fairfax County Fire Rescue responded to the bus accident scene and treated 2 of the 7 children on the crash site, at the 200 block of Maple Avenue, and transported 5 other injured children to Inova Fairfax Hospital for treatment by doctors and nurses. Police officers cited the teenage SUV driver for failure to yield at the bus accident scene. The names of the children were not released and none of the injuries were life-threatening.
