Queens car crash leaves two teens dead and four other passengers hospitalized.
As reported by NY1, the 17 year-old driver, of the Toyota Corolla, was traveling southbound on Brookville Boulevard in Rosedale and crossed over into the northbound traffic lane and crashed into a minivan.
It is against the law for anyone under the age of 18 to drive in New York city. Stephen Bachoon, the 17 year-old driver, and one of his passengers, 16 year-old Chris Basdeo, were pronounced dead at the scene by New York emergency medical (EMS) personnel crews. The 70 year-old driver of the minivan and the four remaining passengers of the Toyota were transported to Queens area hospitals for treatment of their serious injuries.
