Santa Barbara homeowners evacuated amidst out of control wildfires.
Santa Barbara, CA(JusticeNewsFlash.com)–An early season, 400-acre, southern California wildfire blew out of control Wednesday afternoon threatening thousands of homes. As reported by USA Today, about 2,000 homes were evacuated as fire fighters fought to contain the blaze.
The high winds forced 1,200 homes in Santa Barbara to evacuate on Tuesday. California fire officials are unsure of the cause of the wildfire which began around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Barbara County officials ordered the mandatory evacuation of homes along the Pacific coast community. The Red Cross confirmed the evacuation area was north of State Route 192 and into the Santa Ynez Mountains and Los Padres National Forest
