- Wash your hands with soap and water
- Carry an alcohol based hand cleanser and use regularly
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you sneeze or cough
- Throw away all used tissues immediately and wash hands
