One pilot and one passenger survive California aviation accident in Palm Springs.
New York, NY (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–As reported by KESQ, a small plane crashed at Palm Springs International Airport while attempting to land on Saturday at 4:11 p.m. The Palm Springs Fire Department responded to the single pilot and one passenger small aircraft accident late Saturday afternoon.
Palm Springs Fire Department rescue workers arrived at the airport to find the experimental, single engine plane, with its nose in the ground, just off the runway. Their preliminary investigation has determined, the plane crashed because of pilot error. Both the pilot and passenger were reportedly uninjured. The runway was shut down until the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) www.ntsb.gov was notified.
