Dallas, TX (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–American Eagle commercial passenger jet, Flight 3890, en route from Cedar Rapids, Iowa made an emergency landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday. American Airlines (AA) Flight 2461 also issued an emergency alert on Thursday while landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International. American Eagle is based in Fort Worth, Texas and is an affiliate of AA.
According to the Dallas Morning News, flight crews for both commercial flights were responding to reports of smelling smoke by passengers. Officials are claiming a sensor indicated smoke in the cargo compartment on the American Eagle flight and the source of the smoke in unknown for the American Airlines flight. Both commercial jets landed safely at the airport and Flight 3890 required response by fire rescue personnel.
